Spot Check: New Venture Skatepark
While in San Diego recently we went over and checked out the relatively new skatepark called New Venture Action Sports Park. The park is technically in Oceanside and is located at the New Venture Christian Fellowship. The park is a pretty good size with quite a few ramps including a mini half, box, foam pit, small mini with a spine and more. Check out more below...

The ARC Skatepark...Now Open!
The Arc Skatepark is located in the town of Preston in Northen England. It is now open and ready to ride. Park looks like a pretty good layout. A couple good box jumps, a big spine, 2 vert walls and more. Some killer lines available in this park. If you are anywhere near this park go check it out. New Austin, TX Skatepark
Rec Center BMX/Skate park Austin, TexasAs if the scene in Austin wasn't good enough already they are about to get a brand new park. I believe this will only be the second park operated by the city. This one is around 30,000sq ft. That area is split between a street section and a huge bowl. I posted a few pics of the construction below. Some crazy shit will go down in this park!
Laguna Niguel park opens to bikes!!!
Great news if you ever happen to ride bikes in Orange County, California. The park in Laguna Niguel has now opened several bike only sessions. Bikes were previously never allowed at the park. It has taken a couple of years to get the city council to make this happen. Big thanks to those who got this done. They will be announcing a grand opening session soon. News: The plans for the new park in Arvada, Colorado have been approved. Construction of the new 40,000+ square foot park will be handled by Team Pain. The plan is to break ground as soon as the snow and ground melt. Park plans include a street plaza, snake run, multiple bowls and more. New Lafayette, CO Skatepark
Lafayette Colorado Skatepark
The new park in Lafayette Colorado is now completely open. The grand opening went down about a week ago. The park features a deep bowl, small kinked bowl, a small very tight bowl, a snake run and a large street section. Several of the features in the park incorporate rocks in them as transitions. Which sounds like a bad idea but works well. Everywhere you go in this park there are small hits and lines to find. If you are in Colorado go check it out. Many more pics after the jump...
Denver Indoor Skatepark Closed
The Woodward Denver Skatepark has closed down. I just got word this evening of its demise. Leaving Denver without an indoor place to ride through the winter. The park, which was no longer connnected to the real Woodward camp properties, has been experiencing financial difficulties for a while. No plan is in place yet for the space or the ramps. Stay tuned for updates... Its gonna be a long winter...
Hall 2 @ Unit 23
We have posted a few pics from Unit 23 this last week. Well they have just finished phase 1 of some new additions. PSBMX team member Phil Rowe can be seen at this park on occassion. The new section looks amazing.
