One tuck no hander, one footjam nosepick, one invert, and 10,000 whips and bars spins. I really wish the mtb scene would start getting more creative. Every video seems like it's the same as the last one I watched. Where's the progression?
I have to agree with Anonymous ( Even though to give your comment any real value you should state your name) It seems that someone has created a checklist of tricks to be included in an edit and/or for you to be considered good. MTB riders are still WAY behind the curve for progression. Why?
I have to disagree on this one. For street I'd say the same as you two, but in a skatepark the originality mainly comes in the tricks, because a skatepark doesn't have that much orginal lines or anything like that. And I like the originality in their tricks, like the barspin transfer at :037, the slomotion barspin at 0:42, the 3 footjams at the same time... And these kids are soo talented! How many mtb riders have you seen doing a double barspin to brakeless tailtap? And don't forget the fact that these guys are only 16 years old or maybe even younger. If they keep shredding like this they'll deffinitaly be worlds best mtb park riders! Without any doubts!
I never said they didn't have any talent. It's obvious that they do. I just said that they lack creativity. Mainly because just about every 16 year old kid is doing the same thing and posting up similar videos. They have lots of talent. Just no creativity or originality. That's all. Plus, this is the internet. The only reason why you want a name is to call me out because what you think I said was negative. There are a lot of posts on this site that are positive, but you are not so concerned about value for those. Just value for what you dislike. The video is good, and the riders are good. So are the last ten I watched that look just like this one. Just not very creative. Not negative.
The barspin is not in slowmotion, it a busdriver. The guy in white helmet are 15 and the guy with blue is 14!
I agree that the riders are talented. I never meant to take ANYTHING away from that fact. The fact that they are so young makes it even cooler. Maybe I am just jaded towards street riding. I like the creativity and self expression that street provides. Park edits just start looking the same after a while. But really who the FUCK cares. As long as people are riding everythings good!!! (dear (sort of) anonymous: I do not wish to "call you out". However; If what you have to say isn't important enough to claim as your own then your opinion doesn't matter.)
That is so right! I just looked up what a busdriver was. so almost none of the people I see doing barspins are even doing barspins. that makes so much sense.
