Help save the Brooklyn Banks!!!

UPDATED INFO as of 4:00pm MST: Someone from the NYC Dept of Transportation contacted me this afternoon with a new e-mail for telling the city not to close the banks. brooklynbridgeoutreach@gmail.com - They are trying to respond to everyone. Post a comment and let everyone know what response you get!!!

Everyone who is interested in keeping the Brooklyn Banks open during the remodeling of the Brooklyn Bridge needs to contact Seth Solomonow; Seth is the Press secretary for the NYC Dept. Of Transportation. Contact him with the info below and let him know that closing the banks is not an option and that it will adversely affect our sport!!! If you are from outside of NYC let him know you were planning on traveling to NYC for the banks. Save the Banks!!!

DOT appreciates the mostly respectful and cooperative feedback we have received from the communities that use the Brooklyn Banks. We have been issuing a response to all who write in, which I am sure is filtering around the community.

The appropriate address to send concerns is: brooklynbridgeoutreach@gmail.com

If you could please update your post to reflect this, then concerns can be managed as effectively as possible and Seth can get back to his real work. Thank you, Chris Olivier.

His "real work." That sets the tone nicely.
