Snafu Crenshaw Project complete pics

Here are some pics that McGoo posted of the new Snafu Crenshaw test bike. Pay no attention to the fork. It was just used to build the bike up. Snafu will have a rigid fork out soon as well. It will be called the Pickle fork. Snafu is also testing the use of their Mobeus Detangler and specially designed Astroglide cable for Mechanical discs. The Crenshaw frames will hopefully be available in February and the completes in March.  I am looking forward to checking one of these frames out. Here are a couple of pics and some rough specs for the completes.

When they debut as finished completes next March, the Crenshaw and Hawthorne will boast two completely different spec's to cover a broad range of urban and trail riding. Here's how both bikes will stack up:
CRENSHAW:
• Crenshaw Project 4130 chromoly SNAFU MTB frame
• 80mm travel front fork (spec TBD)
• SNAFU drivetrain including Mayweather cranks, our N.EXT Euro BB, Ola sprocket and Anorexic pedals
• SNAFU brake system including AstroGlide top cable, Y-cable, Mobeus and mech brake caliper TBD
HAWTHORNE:
• Crenshaw Project 4130 chromoly SNAFU MTB frame
• New 440 SNAFU Pickle Fork
• SNAFU sprocket and PC Pedals
• SNAFU straight AstroGlide cable and mechanical disk caliper
The Crenshaw is a more richly spec'd parks and trails machine with high-tech BMX componentry for tailwhips and barspins. The Hawthorne will be our full rigid machine with pure trail and street intentions. Both models will feature our MTB bars, Towatay stem, C-Lever, Love Seat, J-Bar CNC'ed alloy micro-adjust post and 26" x 2.35" Rim Job and Knob Job tires.

i see that post more as a hating post against snafu, every company makes it mistakes, and IF THE STORY IS TRUE it's not snafu who is doing it wrong, but they got fucked by the kid ;)
